Skilled freelance journalist and sub-editor seeks new challenges.
Qualified and experienced freelance journalist based in Dublin, Ireland available to take on all freelance assignments. I hold a BA (hons.) in Journalism and have many years practical experience, both as a freelancer and as a magazine staff writer. I specialise in features that address social and community issues and have written on this topic, amongst others, for publications including The Dubliner, Totally Dublin, LeCool Dublin and The Meath Echo. I also have a great deal of experience in events, music and arts writing and have contributed to many music and culture publications.
Additionally, I am an accomplished sub-editor with knowledge of Quark Xpress and Adobe InDesign. I have an excellent command of grammar and spelling, I can produce standfirsts quickly and accurately and I have a knack for coming up with great headlines.
