Freelance Ireland Objectives

Freelance Ireland Objectives

Freelance Ireland is undergoing a transformation. This time it comes in the form of a change of objectives and goals;

There has always been a lack of “customers” engaging in the site and a lot of people mentioned and agreed that posting on Freelance Ireland was like preaching to the choir.  Much as it is, a bunch of freelancers communicating with a bunch of freelancers.

Without a proper business model around Freelance Ireland there is little potential to produce revenues that could then be turned into advertising and thus creating additional activity from non-freelancers.

However, there is noticeably strong potential with the Irish freelance community in general to foster better communication and aid to others. Be it an Irish thing or a freelance thing. The community wants to help people albeit, those that deserve helping.

This site, the social network groups (LinkedIn, Facebook) and the twitter group, is the first step in the new transformation. The second is to encourage and benefit those that contribute and foster the community; Initially by internal promotion with the knock on effect of external.

The objectives of Freelance Ireland will be to provide a great resource for Freelancers in Ireland for information, secondary to that will be connect Irish based freelancers together and third will be to find work for Irish based freelancers.

The site will hopefully undergo slow changes reactive to users wishes and usage.
